Descripción

The digital transformation of industrial automation systems has significantly increased their exposure to cyber threats, especially in Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) architectures. This talk addresses the growing cybersecurity challenges in these critical infrastructures, emphasizing real-world case studies such as Stuxnet, Triton, and BlackEnergy. Key vulnerabilities—including insecure protocols, legacy devices, and insufficient segmentation—are analyzed to highlight common points of failure. The session introduces a defense-in-depth strategy, incorporating Zero Trust principles, network segmentation, and continuous monitoring. Additionally, the presentation discusses internationally recognized standards, as well as the role of artificial intelligence in anomaly detection and proactive incident response.
