Gravitational wave astronomy is reaching maturatirity. In this talk I comment on the
last results from the LIGO and VIRGO collaborations. I will comment on the masses of merging black holes and
the follow up observations of neutron star merger (a.k.a kilonova). I will comment on the impact of kilonoavae on galaxy evolution.
