Transverse Momentum Dependent Parton Distributions Functions (TMD PDFs) are quantities of very high interest for the phenomenology of strong interactions at the future Electron Ion Collider. They are of importance to reveal the spin structure of hadrons as well as to observe the onset of coherence effects due to the presence of high gluon densities. In this talk we present a recent result on TMD gluon distributions within the framework of Lipatov's high energy effective action. Unlike previous results, our framework allows us to recover the complete anomalous dimension associated with Collins-Soper-Sterman (CSS) evolution of the TMD distribution, including also single-logarithmic terms. The goal of the talk is to present both the recent results but also to provide a first introduction to the subject.
