Descripción
In this seminar I am giving an overview of the open questions and objectives that Gravitational wave physics is aiming to address. The current experimental status is reviewed and particular attention is drawn on the necessary theoretical predictions for future gravitational wave observations. In the second part of the presentation, I will go into more detail about a new theoretical approach to compute theoretical predictions
for classical gravitational observables based on scattering amplitudes in quantum field theory.
